Minister of National Education Ziya Selçuk shared recent figures "We are in villages with our courses" project from his social media account. "We started this project with a dream... We opened lifelong learning courses in villages after exchanging letters with mukhtars of 25 thousand villages. The very first step we took on March 3 turned into a large campaign today" said Minister Selçuk adding that the project managed to open 2 thousand and 331 courses which was participated by 57 thousand and 832 people at the start of the project.
 
The project is carrying public education courses to the villages. Village people will apply for free courses about seeding production, agricultural machine maintenance, and apiculture and greenhouse management through e-State application. Noting that courses aiming at increasing conscious production and make right use of limited resources, Minister Selçuk asked village mukhtars to encourage village people to attend the free courses.
 
The Ministry of National Education has prepared approximately 330 course programs about horticulture, animal health, food and agriculture technologies, agricultural machine maintenance and apiculture.
 
Course programs designed according to the interest areas of villagers are aiming at introducing new technologies about agriculture and husbandry and methods about healthy food production and productive harvest.
 
People can apply to free courses through e-State application. All participants who participated in the courses provided by expert trainers are receiving participation certificates.
