TURKEY AND AZERBAIJAN SIGN COOPERATION PROTOCOL FOR VOCATIONAL EDUCATION

The 9th Turkish- Azerbaijan Mixed Economic Meeting (KEK) chaired by Azerbaijani Prime Minister Ali Asadov and Vice President Fuat Oktay was held at the Presidential Complex.
 
Cooperation opportunities in the fields of industry and technology, energy, urbanization, culture and tourism, transportation and communication, agriculture and food safety, education, youth and sports were discussed in the meeting.
 
Following the discussions, signature ceremony of the 9th Turkish- Azerbaijan Mixed Economic Meeting (KEK) took place. Minister of National Education Ziya Selçuk and Azerbaijani counterpart Emin Amrullayev signed vocational cooperation protocol in the presence of   Ali Asadov and Fuat Oktay.
 
Minister Selçuk announced from his social media account that, "A new era begins in vocation education as a part of our cooperation with fellow Azerbaijan. I and my counterpart Emin Amrullayev signed "Turkey-Azerbaijan Vocation Education Institute" protocol under the auspices of Azerbaijani Prime Minister Ali Asadov and Vicey President Fuat Oktay. We hope that this will open new horizons for both countries."
 
Within the framework of the the 9th Turkish- Azerbaijan Mixed Economic Meeting, Turkey and Azerbaijan also signed a Memorandum of Understanding in the Field of Halal Accreditation, Memorandum of Understanding for TÜRKAK-AZAK cooperation, Memorandum of Understanding in the Field Transportation and Information Technologies.
