Minister of National Education Ziya Selçuk addressed students via video message on the occasion of the start of summer school on TRT EBA TV channels. Minister Selçuk said children stayed home for approximately three months and recently started to go out adding that, "We are trying to adapt to the new normal without neglecting health measures and with keeping in mind that the virus is still around us. Although this period is very compelling and depressing for many of us, I can say that this period also taught us incredible lessons."

 

Explaining that the Ministry of National Education set an example for the world by establishing distance education tools and contents promptly, Minister Selçuk stated, "Upon the request of viewers for summer school programs, we will be with you on EBA TV with our summer school broadcasts. The summer school will offer joyous and didactic contents for students, teachers and parents. Design Skill Workshops we founded at schools will be on television during the summer; you can watch rich variety of summer school programs about science, technology, arts, culture, sports and life skills.
