Minister Yusuf Tekin met with teachers at ÇEAŞ Şanlıurfa Anatolian High School as part of "Teachers' Room Meetings" in Şanlıurfa, where he went to make various contacts. Making a statement there, Minister Tekin said that they resolved the issues related to the Ministry of National Education.

Referring to the education investments in Şanlıurfa, Minister Tekin stated that he had a very pleasant conversation with the teachers. Expressing that they consulted on the steps they took in the Ministry, especially in the summer months, Minister Tekin said that they took their notes on certain issues raised by the teachers.

Emphasizing that nearly 30 national education directors in Türkiye have been appointed to their new duties, Minister Tekin noted that they made a new assignment to the Şanlıurfa Provincial Directorate of National Education. Stating that the criticisms, which are completely considered as political polemic, are the statements made without any dialogue with the Ministry, Tekin stated that the Provincial Director of National Education and administrators are appointed to the provinces in accordance with the needs of that province. Stating that there is a very serious need for classrooms in Şanlıurfa, Minister Tekin said that they have appointed one of the people they trust most in terms of investment, construction, land production and following this process closely in coordination with the Ministry as the Provincial Director of National Education in Şanlıurfa.

"We will meet the school and classroom needs of Şanlıurfa"
Stating that the number of students in Şanlıurfa is higher in some schools compared to the number of classrooms, Tekin said that these problems will also be solved. Pointing out that they will meet the school and classroom needs of Şanlıurfa in the new period, Tekin underlined that Türkiye is a state of law and that they cannot declare anyone guilty based only on the assumptions of others. Mentioning that the aforementioned Provincial Director of National Education had faced an unfortunate incident in his previous duty, Minister Tekin said that he was an undersecretary at that time and had immediately activated the Ministry Inspection Board. Stating that both incidents were brought to court after the evaluation of the Ministry Inspection Board, Minister Tekin said that the Provincial Director of National Education was not found guilty. Emphasizing that those who have not been found guilty are innocent, Minister Tekin said that their duty is to protect the rights and laws of innocent people. Reiterating that as a Ministry, they are behind a successful provincial director, Minister Tekin said that they appointed the provincial director because they believe that he will definitely be successful in meeting the needs of Şanlıurfa and is a person who they can follow these issues together.

Minister Tekin met with representatives of non-governmental organizations at the meeting organized by Education Support Programs (EDEP).
