MINISTER SELÇUK INAUGURATES JULY 15 DEMOCRACY AND NATIONAL SOLIDARITY DAY PAINTING CONTEST EXHIBITION

Minister of National Education  Ziya Selçuk expressed his appreciation to be with special students who participated in the painting contest held on the occasion of this very special day of our nation during his speech at the opening of exhibition which is on display at the central building of the Ministry. 
 
Stating that he is proud to celebrate the 4th anniversary of the democracy victory that Turkish the people won on July 15, Minister Selçuk said, "The Ministry of National Education works in an effort to make our students aware of the importance of this day better and teach them to take lessons from the event in various different activities."
 
Minister Selçuk stressed that the Ministry also works in an effort to develop democracy awareness among children adding that, "This effort must have a reflection in the family and society. In this context, it is very important to support the concept of democracy among our children on every occasion and place."
 
Noting the importance of the works of special students on display at the painting exhibition, Minister Selçuk underlined, "It is a sacred mission for me and the Ministry to support special students in every means, provide them the opportunity to take more confident steps to the future."
 
Minister Selçuk stressed that supporting children who have disadvantages in life is among the priorities of the Ministry as a part of its justice based approach in education adding that, "We have started to design our projects for special children in 2023 Education Vision by considering the fact that every single individual hase equal rights. In line with this perspective, we are working with dedication to give more quality education to these students.
