Minister of National Education Nabi Avcı who is in the Aegean provincial capital of İzmir to attend a series of inauguration ceremonies visited the Nesin Math Village in the Şirince district on the second day of his visit to the area.
Minister Avcı welcomed by chants of “Snow White Minister”
The visit started with the children chanting “Snow White Minister” as Minister Avcı arrived as the founder of the school Prof. Dr. Ali Nesin gave information to the minister of the activities at the Nesin Math Village.
Minister Avcı toured the library, classes and the dormitories and was then treated to lunch at the “generous scoop” dining hall. Minister Avcı thanked Prof. Ali Nesin for his contributions to education.
