BEST PRACTICES IN TURKISH EDUCATION CONFERENCE WILL BE ORGANIZED

The Ministry of National Education will organize the conference in line with the activities that will be carried out about language education mentioned in the "2023 Presidential Annual Program" and according to the suggestions mentioned at the "Turkish Education in Türkiye and in the World Workshop" organized between September 26 and 29 about dissemination of best examples in Turkish education.
 
It is expected that the Minister of National Education Mahmut Özer will attend the conference which aims at detecting and disseminating original and effective practices in Turkish education and defining education contents produced according to the updated and advanced methods.
 
Language education experts, teachers who made a difference with best examples and students will attend the conference and share their projects.
 
The main themes of the conference will be "Turkish education as mother tongue and as a foreign language; Communicative language activities and strategies within the context of bilingual people; material development and assessment; measurement and assessment; digital learning and technologies."
 
Best practices prepared by Turkish teachers will be subject to the two-staged assessment of the conference council.
 
Best examples will be defined as a result of this assessment and they will be presented to the teachers, academicians, students and related Ministry staff. Applications for best practices in Turkish language will continue until November 15.

Approved 61 best practices were presented at a previous conference
The Ministry organized "Best Practices in Language Education Conference" between May 16 and18, 2022 and effective language education compatible with the Europe Joint Application Document were displayed in this conference. Total of 530 applications from teachers teaching English, Turkish as a Foreign Language, Spanish, German, French, Arabic and Russian were examined and 61 approved best practices from these applications were presented during the three-day conference. Meanwhile, posters of 23 students were displayed during the conference.
 
It is expected that the final report of the "Turkish Education in Türkiye and in the World Workshop" will be published this month.
