ADVANCED TECHNICAL SCHOOLS FOR GIRLS BREAK DESIGN REGISTRATION RECORD

Minister of National Education Mahmut Özer has decided that advanced technical schools for girls must increase their production capacity and revise their traditional approach with innovative ideas during an assessment meeting. It was decided that all these schools would be transformed into R&D centers and the Ministry allocated 6 million liras for the infrastructure reinforcement.
 
Following the meeting, the Ministry cooperated with the Turkish Patent and Brand Institute in order to organize training programs for administrators, teachers and students of 24 advanced technical schools for girls about patent/useful model, design, geographic marks, fundamental concepts, process and patent application.
 
All these steps yielded positive results in a short period of time. Schools applied for the registration of their 7482 designs and they received registration for 6830 products
 
Adana Advanced Technical School for Girls Ranked First
Adana Advanced Technical School for Girls ranked first after it registered 523 designs while schools in Antalya, Bursa and İstanbul registered 500 designs each.
 
"Advanced Technical Schools for Girls played a major role in the protection and transfer of our cultural heritage. Currently, there are 24 advanced technical schools for girls and they were updated with a new approach. The Ministry allocated 6 million liras for the transformation of these schools into R&D centers. We have cooperated with the Turkish Patent and Brand Institute. We will continue to support these schools which will continue to transfer our cultural heritage to younger generations," said Minister Özer.
